    More Aging Craziness

IT’S ALWAYS SOMETHING I have finally started getting my hormones leveled off and am feeling like myself again and then the joints start acting crazy. I swear, if it’s not one thing, it’s something else!   I’ll only take one second to whine!  When will everything just feel good again???  Okay, I’m done.  But honestly, once I reached 50 years old, even though my brain thought I was still young, my body decided to keep reminding me that I am NOT.  So onto the exciting part of my day…I have had hip problems for awhile. My sciatic nerve would flare up and I would visit the chiropractor and then it would…

Reading Past Journals And Seeing How Far I’ve Come (Empty Nesting)

Journals From The Past I pulled out an old journal and started reading my entries from past years. They have no clue!  Women endure the menstruation and cramping during their younger years. We carry items as large as watermelons in our uterus for months.  Our bodies contort and contract until we push this watermelon sized human being out through a tiny space,  and then have these tiny beings sucking on our engorged breasts that drip with milk all day and night. We spend the next year or so trying to return our bodies to normal again… only to repeat the cycle.    Brief Sigh of Relief Then we…

    An American in Singapore

I love to travel! My mind and body crave the experience of being in another place, immersing myself in other cultures and lifestyles. One of the most exotic and exciting experiences I have ever had was my first trip to Singapore. It has been many years since I visited Singapore but the sights and smells remain with me to this day. The air holds an aromatic blend of orchids, moist sea air, fish markets and exotic Chinese herbs.     Singapore Airlines Flying to this country is an experience all its own. I flew out of New York City on Singapore Airlines and before I even boarded the plane the…
